Robert Goodwill MP visits Record Revivals to support Small Business Saturday in Scarborough.
Local Member of Parliament for Scarborough and Whitby, has paid a visit to the Record Revivals Company based in Scarborough in support of Small Businesses Saturday 2017. Mr Paul Toole and his partner Gillian Brown run the shop on Northway, close to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The business is capitalising on the resurgence of vinyl records.
Robert Goodwill said:
āIām delighted to support Small Business Saturday this year and I was pleased to hear that the business is going well. It is important that we back the independent businesses in our community. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and our Industrial Strategy is building an environment in which they can continue to thrive. It is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign that highlights small business successes, and encourages consumers to shop locally and support small businesses, also such a great event getting people together to support local traders right across the country.ā
