The Chair of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee Sir Robert Goodwill MP has issued a letter to the new Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs regarding the issue of sea life mortality off the North East Coast of England.
Sir Robert has welcomed the positive reply from Fishing Minister Rt Hon Mark Spencer MP promising to set up an expert scientific panel to review all the evidence in connection with the mass shellfish mortality event last autumn.
